The Helion Group has been operating on the Polish market since 1991. Initially, as a traditional book publishing house specializing in IT publications, over the time it expanded its range of products by new brands and business segments, electronic formats (e-books and audiobooks), and created its own independent e-commerce distribution channels.
At present, the Group has an extensive portfolio of numerous brands dedicated to various market segments, in which the Group is the leader or a leading player. This fact proves the high competence in the selection and quality of the content offered. The Group also owns a distribution platform for e-books, audiobooks and traditional publications in the form of online stores, offering both own titles and external publishers titles.
The internal software house, developed for many years, allowed the Group to become a technological leader in the field of e-commerce in the publishing industry in Poland. The gradual transfer of the content distribution into online channels, changes in payment models or digitization of resources are factors that the Group perceives as development opportunities rather than as potential threats.

Currently the Group employs over 120 people and additionally cooperates with a group of almost 300 individual suppliers (authors, translators, proofreaders, typesetters and audio associates). Group’s consolidated revenues equals to approx. EUR 9m.
The Group's warehouse offers over 5,200 titles stored in a modern logistics center Tulipan Park Gliwice, located near to the largest interchange in this part of Europe at the intersection of A4 highway (east-west) and A1 highway (north-south). The Group's logistics process is recognized on the market as one of the determinants for the entire industry and is highly valued in terms of quality, therefore Helion also provides similar services to external entities.
